Proudly headquartered in Melbourne, Sustainable Living Fabrics’ passion for sustainability has led them to be the first commercial furnishing fabric company to offer fabrics with the Good Environmental Choice Ecolabel to the Australian market and the only company to offer its entire range of fabrics as certified environmentally preferable.

In July 2006 SLF were awarded Finalist in Banksia Awards 2006 Eco Innovation Category recognising its world leadership in environmental textiles. They also in became 100% carbon neutral offsetting all CO2 equivalent emissions attributed to the production of its fabrics and support activities.

The company has also been instrumental in driving environmental change on Victorian Farms by supporting Leanwool®, Ecowool® yarn and at the same time have reduced their own electricity consumption by 13% and water usage by 62%.

Sustainable Living Fabrics have demonstrated sustainability leadership in their own industry and also through the uptake of their product in many other industries throughout Victoria.
