Horsham House Bed and Breakfast has changed its catering operations to reduce its carbon footprint by using locally produced foods and composting almost 100 per cent of its organic waste. Electricity consumption has been reduced by 33 per cent as a result of energy saving equipment for hot water and air conditioning, and water usage decreased 67 per cent by changing to a semi-commercial front-loading washing machine. All grey water is used for landscape irrigation.
