The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) Schools Water Efficiency Program (SWEP) is part of the Our Water, Our Future campaign. As part of SWEP, Victorian schools’ water use is audited and provided with a low-cost solution to achieve indoor water savings. The program produces economic and environmental benefits with participating schools reducing their indoor drinking water consumption by up to 30 per cent within three years of operation.
