2010 Finalist: Tertiary Education
The University of Melbourne’s Office for Environmental Programs equips graduates with transdisciplinary expertise and specialty knowledge in an environmental field. With a core subject, ‘Sustainability, Policy and Management’, the program has now introduced new study streams such as ‘Sustainable Forests’ and ‘Climate Change’ in response to changing environmental priorities. Graduates are advancing sustainability in Victoria and further afield, employed in public agencies, the non-profit sector, environmental consultancy and corporate sustainability.
